The Pitons
Whether you fancy a hike with unbelievably rewarding views or just want a boat tour to admire the two volcanic mountains from ground level, a trip to The Pitons is a must. Gros Piton is 771 metres high, Petit Piton is 743 metres high, and both are linked by the Piton Mitan ridge. Sulphur Springs
The world’s only “drive in volcano”, the sulphur springs in Saint Lucia can be found towards the southwestern part of the island and is only 35km from Marigot Bay. The centre of the spring boils 340° F which then creates steam that is pushed from gaps in the rock. A trip to the the Sulphur Springs includes a volcanic mud bath experience as well as a tour around the springs.
Fort Rodney
For a mixture of beautiful views and rich history, a trip to Fort Rodney offers everything you could possibly look for in a day out. Located within Pigeon Island National Park, this beautiful park features relics from the colonial war including canons as well as offering a beautiful beach perfect for sunbathing on. Fort Rodney is only around 28 k from marigot Bay and is well worth the trip.
